Lesson113の途中から、ディクテーション、グラマーはさんで114の途中まで。

  - We can use verbs like ask, want to know, or wonder in reported speech.

・Do we use the word order of question in reported speech?
  - No, we don’t use the word order of a question in reported speech but we put the subject before the verb.

・When do we add ‘if’ in reported speech?
  - We add ‘if’ in reported speech when a question can be answered with ‘yes’or ‘no’.

・What’s on TV tonight?
  - He wondered what was on TV that night.

・Did you have enough money to buy it?
  - He asked if I had had enough money to buy it.

・Have you ever been to Greece?
  - He asked if I had ever been to Greece.

・What will you do tomorrow?
  - She asked what I would do the next day.

・Which fruit do you find the most delicious: plums, peaches, or grapes?
  - I find peaches the most delicious.

・What kind of habits fill you with disgust?
  - The kind of habits that fill me with disgust are picking your nose or picking your teeth.

・How can we describe a person who’s neither ugly nor beauty?
  - We can describe a person who’s neither ugly nor beauty as plain.
