  - People suffered from a hangover the next day if they drink too much.

・What do we maen by a violet death?
  - By a violet death we mean a murder or being killed in an accident.

・Why do some people become violent when they drive a car?
  - I think some people become violent when they drive a car because they can’t manage the pressure connected with driving.

・Why are bacteria dangerous?
  - Bacteria are dangerous because they cause infections which may be difficult to cure.

・Where can we find bacteria?
  - We can find bacteria in water, in the air, in earth, or in dead animals and plants.

・What’s the most common cure for a cold?
  - The most common cure for a cold is garlic or hot lemon tea.

・When do we use ‘had better’?
  - We use ‘had better’ to tell someone whant they should do. It’s also a very useful form of advice.

・Had you better study hard if you don’t want to fail your exams?
  - Yes, you had better study hard if you don’t want to fail your exams.

・What had better do if we don’t want to be late?
  - We’d better hurry if we don’t want to be late.

・Had you better keep fit if you want to be healthy?
  - Yes, you’d better keep fit ir you want to be healthy.
