今日の学びはReported Speech。頭じゃわかっているけど、レッスンになると出てこない。。

そんなこんなでLesson92のはじめから途中まで。

・When do we use direct speech?
  - We use direct speech when we repeat somobody’s words exactly using inverted commas.
  - ‘I am tired’, he said.

・When do we use reported speech?
  - We use reported speech when we report what somebody said.

・’I work in this school now.’ What did the man say?
  - The man said that he worked in that school then.

・’I have two cats here.’ What did his grandmother say?
  - His grand mother said that she had two cats there.

・’Mary has finished today.’ What did the man say?
  - The man said that Mary had finished that day.

・’You missed the lesson'.’ What did the man say?
  - The man said that I had missed the lesson.
